A Fallen Angel

I’m a fallen angel!  Yes … and I’m going to hell.

I grew up in a religious family.  My childhood included sitting still every Sunday morning on hard, wooden pews built by my Great Uncle in the church founded and built by my Great Grandmother.  I went to Sunday School, Sunday School Picnics, Girls’ Brigade and Youth Group … all teaching me how to be a disciple of Jesus and to grow up into a submissive, dutiful, Christian wife (something that didn’t really strike me as all that tantalising).

Is mental health ‘the new black’?

This post has been contributed by a friend who wishes to remain anonymous:

I’m a fairly recent Twitter convert.  I came ‘online’ last year, just before all the disasters.  I’ve been completely blown away by the communities that exist and the level of exchange that goes on.
One of the best things I’ve seen is the initiative for Rural Mental Health (#RuralMH) that was ‘launched’ last night with their first ever chat.  I didn’t participate, but reading through the tweets today I’m amazed and inspired by how brave some people are.  I wish I could be brave too.
